Good news, folks. I’ve finally finished writing Thrall, and the Kindle ebook is set to go on sale December 1. I’m not sure about the audiobook version yet – we’re about to start production, but I probably won’t have a date from the guys who do that for another week or so.
As for the previews, yes, I’m late with the next snippet. When I started doing editing I found a lot more revisions in the early parts of the book than I’d originally expected, and I didn’t want to risk publishing a passage that later got removed or substantially changed. At this point I’ve finished all the changes, and I’m just going to be doing proofreading, so previews will resume in a couple of days.

OK, what’s the secret for finding it? (I’m lucky other people know how to find it!) I tried an Amazon search for E. William Brown Thrall and got nothing…I need to go find a 12 year old, don’t I (says the geezer)?

Proofreading and last minute changes probably. He probably figured he couldn’t make November 1’st so he had to do it December 1’st (Amazon strongly encourages authors to release on the first of the month).

I kept wondering through the books why he didn’t summon diamonds. There’s actually some evidence that there are massive diamonds in the mantle, and that the Earth may be close to 2% diamond.
Seems that it would be a rather large amount, making summoning said diamonds much easier than summoning gold.

He may summon precious stones if an artifact he is working on requires it. (say a laser or some optic based magic).

Just finished Thrall. Once I got started, couldn’t put it down. Ended on only a small cliffy but I hope we don’t have to wait another year before we see a new book. I know asking a lot, but the anticipation is killing me. Well done none the less.
